The Cheechakos
Cover Design

The Cheechakos, a 1923 silent film, was the first feature length movie filmed entirely in Alaska. The four-panel cover design houses the matching DVD and Blu-ray Discs. I was asked to maintain the historic integrity of the film style, while also appealing to the modern consumer. I slightly edited the existing typography, keeping it as close to the original as possible. All historic black and white photos were edited and restored to be used within the layout.
